101-308 HSE Manager
The successful candidate will report to the Executive VP, Corporate Operations and be accountable for all HSE controls and associated operations. The HSE Manager will supervise and manage the Group’s field coordination functions.
Personal and Professional Skills
• Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
• Teamwork and relationship building skills
• Thorough knowledge of the HSE principles, policies and procedures
• Familiar with governmental legislation and regulations for HSE
Specific Responsibilities
• Develop corporate alignment to the Health Safety & Environment Program
• Manage Accident / Investigation & Root Cause Analysis
• Prepare and present specific operational and safety presentations
• Prepare and present HSE framework for field programs
• Complete ‘Performance Evaluations’ on Safety Department personnel
• Compilation of all HSE related reports for company
• Review all company incident reports for continuity and completion
• Attend operations and safety meetings for company
Required Experience
• Develop corporate alignment to the Health Safety & Environment Program
• Manage Accident / Investigation & Root Cause Analysis
• Prepare and present specific operational and safety presentations
• Prepare and present HSE framework for field programs
• Complete ‘Performance Evaluations’ on Safety Department personnel
Required Skill Set
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in HSE oil & gas related operations – drilling programs, seismic programs, remote northern driving knowledge
• Manage and administer HSE systems for Safety, ERP, Incident Management, Reporting
• Self Starter attitude, and the ability to work well with little supervision and strong ownership of the work
• Proven track record in successfully managing numerous, and rapidly changing financial priorities
• A calm and focused demeanor, with a dedication to excellence and professionalism
