This is a 4 to 6 month contact position. The successful Candidate must be used to working in a team environment and will be required to give regular reports to the project coordinator. Written work must be clear and well written. The Candidate will report to the President throughout the project but secondary reporting will be to another Sr. Engineer and our VP of Geology
Project description and tasks:
-Reservoir study is located Offshore Indian in fluvial marine, deepwater environments.
-The field is not producing at this time.
-The reservoir is primarily gas with low yields of condensate. No oil has been identified.
-Petrel model will be built by their geological and petrophysical team in Calgary.
-Eclipse model is presently built with data up to five years ago and will be modified to reflect changes in Petrel and new well data.
-Several development cases will be built for full exploitation of the multiple reservoirs within the field.
Working hours are 7.5 hr/day average. Flex time is available and negotiable.
As a contractor no benefits will be paid. However if the work becomes full time (other projects) then a comprehensive benefits plan is available for all employees.
At the time of an interview the candidate must provide considerable evidence of his/her achievements using Eclipse.
